Encouragement and Inspiration

God Answers Prayers

My daughter call me early this morning to tell me her car wouldn’t start but I was already at school. I told her I would come by after I got off. She said she didn’t know if we could jump it because there were people parked on both sides of her. I thought of all my plan Bs. On my way to her, I called to let her know I was coming. She said that people were still parked beside her on both sides. Then I prayed, Lord, please open up a space beside her. And He answered it. When I got there, I pulled right next to her. God answers little tiny prayers and big miracle prayers and all the ones in between. He loves to take care of his children! No prayer is too small or too big!. Don’t worry we got her car working again. I had a great Dad! Praise God for His love for us! We are His!đź’— #TrustGod Philippians 4:4-7

Nothing Can Separate You From God!

How awesome to feel the spirit of God cover me when I am listening to a worship song driving home.  Man, it felt so good.  I thought, Lord, now you know I can’t take my hands off this wheel, but you can saturate me in your goodness right now.

It reminded me of something I read this morning during my devotional time.  It said, “Remember that your relationship with Me is saturated with grace.  Therefore, nothing that you do or don’t do can separate you from My Presence.” (Jesus Calling, January 14)

I rushed through my devotion this morning.  I didn’t have time to completely allow God to fill me like I usually do.  But this afternoon, He reminded me that even if I don’t praise him like I should or thank Him like I should or talk to Him like I should, He still covers me with His spirit no matter where I am because I’m His child.  And He loves me. Romans 8:38-39 NIV

38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Are You Ready?

Dear God, I’m sorry for my sins, please forgive me. I believe you died to save me from my sins, my disobedience. Please save me now! I confess my sins and wrong doing and I want to live for you! Please come live inside me and help me to tell others about how awesome you are! I love you! Thank you God! In your name, God I pray, Amen!

If you prayed this prayer with sincerity, you are now one of God’s children. Go and tell others about him, Read God’s word, The Bible, and attend church somewhere God leads you! Pray always and thank Him for everything., even bad things. They bring lessons. I love you and can’t wait to see you In Heaven! Welcome to the Family!

Spiritual Guidance for the Soul

Episode 1

Proverbs 3:5-12-The Message

Trust God from the bottom of your heart;

    don’t try to figure out everything on your own.

Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go;

    he’s the one who will keep you on track.

Don’t assume that you know it all.

    Run to God! Run from evil!

Your body will glow with health,

    your very bones will vibrate with life!

Honor God with everything you own;

    give him the first and the best.

Your barns will burst,

    your wine vats will brim over.

But don’t, dear friend, resent God’s discipline;

    don’t sulk under his loving correction.

It’s the child he loves that God corrects;

    a father’s delight is behind all this.

Healing is the most important thing to do right now.  After this past year of disappointments, heartbreak and feeling defeated, your soul needs healing and replenishment.  Run the past thoughts through your mind.  It will hurt, you will feel pain and guilt, but let it run.  You may cry and that’s okay.  Healing begins when we realize there is a wound.  It must be cleaned properly to heal.  Get out of your mind ALL the cause of your disappointment, hurt, pain, guilt (infection) knowing a clean wound heals properly and the skin grows back.  Once it heals you can begin again, WHOLE! And with experience and knowledge you gained so that you won’t hurt yourself or someone else again. (change)

Affirmations to speak over your life daily, then tell them to someone else:
I love you!
I believe in you!
You are destined for great things!
Don’t give up!
I’m so proud of you!
You are purposed!

My first graders and I say these to each other every day during our morning meeting. It bears fruit! Try it!
