DFIT Forever!

I support DFIT because I am living-proof that it doesn’t matter what age, fitness level, food hoarder or frame of mind you’re in, they work with everybody! lol

DFIT is a way of life.  It’s fitness, meal planning, building a productive environment and therapy. Best of all,  it’s Virtual!  It helps you to stop, think, plan and focus on what’s important in your life.  Demetrius and Andrea work with your environment, your body, your food and your mind.  They partner with you.  You are not on your own.  They are available to you with answers to your questions, comments, complaints and encouragement.  http://www.dfittransformation.com

I support DFIT because I am living-proof that it doesn’t matter what age, fitness level, food hoarder or frame of mind you’re in, they work with everybody! lol    I am pleased with my progress and will continue to work hard to maintain the lifestyle that I am accustomed to right now.  I’ve come a long way, baby!  http://www.dfittransformation.com

If you’re looking to maintain your life or change your life, it can only be done with commitment AND discipline.  We live in a world where we don’t know what can happen day to day.  Why let fear of the unknown keep you from making a better life for yourself.  I’m not talking about money or material things, I’m talking about life.  The life you wish to live for a long time by taking care of yourself, building your immune system and being at peace.  http://www.dfittransformation.com

The systems they create are just for you, are about you and no one else and they change as you change.   Be encouraged! Two years I’ve been with DFIT and virtual.  For 1 year I’ve been working out at home. It’s hard to see success up close, but from a distance,  it’s visible and attainable.  I believe in you! Now believe in yourself!💖 We got this!

Walk It Out!

Slippers!   The day was not looking good for me! I left my wallet in my daughter’s car early that morning.  I thought I left my phone at home and would not be back until that evening. I didn’t, whew! I had a long meeting at school that morning, had to call a parent about their child’s behavior and write him up.  I met with another person about being the coordinator of a committee at school (my 5th commitment). I had a come to Jesus moment with another student who rolled their eyes at me. I took 10 mins of recess the next day so students in my class could practice how to line up to go out of the room and into the hallway, since they were having such a hard time with it that afternoon.

After school, I had a training so I can be a better teacher and my head was filled with gibbly-garb as I thought about all the things I needed to get done that evening.  I needed to write sub plans for the next day, put students in reading groups, start behavior plans, look at IEP’s and create MTSS plans and tweak lesson plans, grade papers, fill out interims and on and on and on…………….

In the car on the way home, I turned the radio to several different stations.  Finally, I found a head-banger 80’s song, so I turned it up and sang loudly and banged my head to the music.  I found it quite refreshing. Then I remembered what my trainers, Demetrius and Andrea (DFIT Institute for Transformation) told me one day when had a similar day before school started.  They said to go for a walk outside. I thought that would be perfect today.

I got home and immediately changed into my workout wear, grabbed my earbuds and phone (playlist).  I walked in my neighborhood. I walked down my street and up another, up a really big hill and down the really big hill and then home.  As I was walking, I felt the breeze on my face, I looked at the trees, houses, yards, cars, saw a neighbor smile, a big dog (I prayed I wouldn’t be eaten) and all the drama and chaos of that day fell away.  I thought about how much energy I had now and how much I could get done, including writing this blog post!

I still had a lot to do, but I could conquer it now with my extra boost of energy and the fact that the stress of the day had fallen away all because I decided to walk it out!

Take time for yourself, especially those of us who take work home.  Notice your signs for the need to de-stress and find a way that works for you.  Be intentional, purposeful and creative. Not everything works for everyone.  Make it a healthy choice, make it beneficial for you and your body. Remember it is important for you to be here and do what you do.  So walk it out and find your “ME“ again!

Growth Mindset (DFIT)

In school, we teach children to change the way they think by changing how they think.  What goes in your mind comes out of your whole being. This concept also works for adults.  If you think you can, you can. If you think you can’t, you cant.

One month ago, I joined DFIT Institute for Transformation as a virtual client.   It is a program where you will learn how to tap into a full body growth mindset that will help you reach your full potential.  You will work with winners who will help you create a new mindset so that you can improve your health, enjoy your body and transform your life.  Demetrius, Andrea and their team have created an environment for dedicated clients (in house and virtual) with a desire to improve their life working with determined coaches who aspire to help others get healthy and fit.  You will learn to transform your body, your business and your life.*

I am now in Phase 2, I am learning a lot about myself physically and mentally.  I know that I am a very strong and determined person, but I’m learning about self-discipline and not to give up so easily.  Change of body and mind take time and better habits form when you are aware of what you are allowing and putting into your mind and body.  DFIT has helped me learn that. I feel more in control of what I do daily for my body and mind. I’m learning to say “NO” to things that aren’t good for me and I am aware of what goes into my body.  It changes my thought process and it also changes my whole being.

I teach children to how to learn and how to treat themselves by creating better habits for their mind.  But as an adult, I need to do this for myself too. As parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles or even just humans, we tend to put ourselves last.  We can’t teach better habits if we don’t have any for ourselves and DFIT can help with that.

Change your growth mindset today!  Contact DFIT Institute for Transformation, it will change the way you see yourself forever!
